These Terms of Use outline the guidelines and rules for submitting content to Samsung’s Customer Ratings and Review (CRR) service. By contributing, you agree to adhere to these terms, which work in conjunction with Samsung’s Privacy Policy.
User Conduct and Warranties
When submitting content, you affirm that you are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property, and you waive all moral rights. You guarantee that your contributions are accurate and that you are at least 13 years old. The use of your submitted content must comply with these Terms of Use and not harm any individual or entity.
Prohibited Content
You agree not to submit content that is:
- False, inaccurate, or misleading.
- Infringing on any third party’s intellectual property rights, including copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secrets.
- In violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Defamatory, libelous, hateful, biased, offensive, or unlawfully harassing.
- Submitted in exchange for compensation or consideration from a third party.
- Including personal or contact information such as other websites, physical addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Containing any malicious software like computer viruses, worms, or other damaging programs or files.
Indemnification and License
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samsung, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and third-party service providers (including Bazaarvoice, Inc.) from any claims, damages, or demands arising from a breach of your representations or violation of any law or third-party rights.
For any content you submit, you grant Samsung a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, and fully transferable license to use, copy, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell, and distribute such content. This license allows Samsung to incorporate your content into any form, medium, or technology globally without any compensation to you.
Content Moderation and Deletion
Samsung reserves the right to use its sole discretion in managing submitted content. This includes the right to change, condense, or delete any content deemed to violate these Terms of Use or content guidelines. While Samsung aims to post ratings and reviews within two to four business days, it reserves the right to remove or refuse any submission for any reason allowed by law. You acknowledge that you are responsible for the content of your submission, and Samsung is not obligated to provide recourse for editing or deleting submitted content. Any submitted content will not be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Samsung or its affiliates.
Email Communication
By submitting your email address with a rating or review, you consent to Samsung and its third-party service providers using your email for administrative purposes, such as contacting you about the status of your review.
