Our commitment extends beyond breeding to encompass a lifelong dedication to every puppy we bring into the world. We believe in producing healthy, highly-motivated Labrador Retrievers that excel in various roles, including hunting, family companionship, search and rescue, and performance sports like hunt tests, dock diving, and agility. Our ultimate goal is to breed puppies that possess a strong work ethic and the genetic predisposition for a long, healthy life.
Our puppies are raised in a home environment, free from kennels, ensuring they are well-socialized and accustomed to family living from day one. We meticulously select breeding dogs based on their lineage, temperament, and health clearances, aiming to produce offspring with the intelligence, drive, versatility, instinct, and enthusiasm necessary to meet diverse training goals.
Each puppy from DuckDawg Retrievers comes with its first vaccination, dew claws removed, a starter supply of food, a packet of essential information, toys, and a comfort blanket. We choose not to microchip very young puppies due to the potential discomfort associated with the procedure. Instead, we recommend microchipping around 4-5 months of age when the puppy is more robust.
We warmly invite prospective owners to visit our home to tour our facilities and meet our beloved Labradors.
