Kassandra Anne Grant, 32, of Bangor, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Born to Angela Rosengren and Kenneth Grant, Kassandra was a vibrant soul known for her bright spirit, infectious humor, and deep capacity for love.
Kassandra grew up in Orrington and was characterized by her kindness and intelligence. She had a profound love for animals, with a particular fondness for horses. An avid reader, she shared her passion for books with her stepfather, Ed. Her sharp sense of humor and love for laughter were infectious, and she found immense joy in music, with punk rock, especially Green Day, being her favorite genre. Many cherished memories involve her and her mother singing along to their favorite songs in the car.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Grant, in 2017.
Kassandra’s legacy lives on through her cherished son, Kellin Holman, whom she loved fiercely. She is also survived by her mother, Angela Rosengren of Brewer, ME; her stepfather, Edwin Rosengren, and his wife Rebecca of Orrington; her brother, Alexander Rosengren of Dixmont; and her sister, Nicole Rosengren of Lynchburg, VA. Extended family includes her aunt Regina Snow of Searsport; uncles Randy Corey of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Robert Corey of Thailand; her great-grandmother Janet Grant of Searsport; her aunt Kim Grant of Searsport; and uncle Kirk Grant and his wife Kristy of Searsport. She also leaves behind many cousins and friends, with whom she shared special bonds, notably her aunt Priscilla Sovis of Brownville and cousin Ashland (Corey) Keller of Brownville.
A graveside service to celebrate Kassandra’s life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Grove Cemetery in Belfast, Maine. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor her memory.
